Quiz Four

Topic: Canda Lynx and Snowshoe Hare. 

Hudson Bay Company data for the populations of these two species dates back from the 1840s.  Find out a little bit about this famous data set (in the library, or on the internet), and discuss the methodology for solving the Lotka-Volterra equations we have been using in class. 

Questions you might address: What problems if any do you see with the accuracy of this model?   What problems if any do you see with the method of data collection?   

This assignment is due on the morning after the quiz was due, and should be 300 - 400 words long, not including any equations / diagrams you might want to include.
