Here is one of the oldest  PCC trolleys used in Philadelphia.  Note that, instead of "standee windows," this streetcar has enlarged passenger windows.

Another restored PCC  in Philadelphia.  This silver and cream paint scheme was used prior to adoption of green and cream.

PCC trolleys were painted different colors in different cities.  Baltimore used yellow.  St. Louis used red.

A historic green and white PCC sits between the newer vehicles that replaced it on Philadelphia trolley lines.

These new versions of the street car, called light rail vehicles, or LRVs, were designed and manufactured in Japan.
