Here is an entire rail yard filled with the Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) that replaced the PCC trolleys in Philadelphia.

Many U.S. cities
replaced street cars with buses during the 1950s and 1960s.  But one city that kept its trolley tracks and PCC trolleys was San Francisco.  Here a PCC in regular service rolls down a major street in 
the mid-1990s.
