1: Method of study.
- Now you must select how you want to get the data for your study.
- In this case, the easiest was will probably be to survey students
in particular classes, use statistics which are already available
from a college, or a combination of both.
- Creating your own survey can get more data to evaluate possible
alternatives, however will not be as comprehensive as using data from
the college.
- If it is available, data from the college will cover your entire
population, however motivation and other personal data cannot be collected.
- If time allows for a questionnaire to be given to a representative
sample of the population, it is better to use your own survey.
- If you have limited time and access to the college records, it may
be better to use the pre-existing data.
