A billboard advertises new homes near the Chicago suburb of Aurora as a METRA commuter train speeds past.  Aurora is located on one of METRA's busiest commuter routes, the main line of the old Burlington railroad, now part of the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe (BNSF).

A METRA train bridges over a freight railroad.  METRA wants to use that freight railroad, a "beltline" around Chicago, to operate commuter trains from one suburb to another.  Neighbors along the freight railroad oppose the plan because of the added noise of more trains.  Stay tuned!
