DAISY BATES'S HOUSE
A woman named Daisy Bates guided the black students who integrated Central High School. Every morning before school, the Little Rock Nine would gather at Daisy Bates's house to eat breakfast and plan the upcoming day at Central High. After eating, the students rode to Little Rock Central High School in carefully guarded military vehicles. |
