There is much exposed rock in Sweden.

Note how the exposed rock has been "designed in" to the landscaping of this building.

This modernistic smoke stack, although part of a not-too-attractive service building, has been surrounded with greenery.

From a distance, the smoke stack loses its starkness.

The heavy landscaping gives a natural look to what is, in reality, a high-density residential area.
