Try to be very discriminating in your use of web materials. These sites are meant only to supplement your texts and lectures. When visiting websites, please remember that these can not substitute for regular viewing of class slides, nor can they replace traditional research materials. Exercise extreme caution since many sites contain doubtful or  incorrect information.

• A wonderful exhibit of Medieval and Renaissance manuscripts and books from the Vatican Library is available at Vatican Exhibit

• Providence College's Civweb maintains an enormous archive of websites on Renaissance art and artists
