Read Section 5.3.
Problem Assignment 12:

Section 5.2.I: 3, 5, 8, 12-15, 19, II: 2-4, 6, 7, 10, III: 2, 4, 5.

Homework due Wednesday, April 24:
Try out the Solids and Euler Characteristic activity on the CD. Verify that a few of the polyhedra given as examples in the activity satisfy Euler's Formula.
Read the handout given out in class on Monday, as a preparation for working on the group project on Wednesday. Do enough of the icosian problems to familiarize yourself with the process of finding Hamiltonian circuits. These problems will not be collected.

Homework due Friday, April 26:
Reread Section 5.3.

Homework due Monday, April 29:
Read Section 5.4.
Problem Assignment 13:

Section 5.3.I: 3, 4, 6-9, 11-17, 19, 20, II: 1-7, 10, III: 1, 4, 5.
Note that the authors assume that none of their graphs have crossing edges.

Homework due Wednesday, May 1:
Reread Section 5.4.
Turn in Group Project 3. Turn in one project per group. Be sure to explain carefully any graphs or pictures you include in your project. Your project will be graded on presentation as well as content.
I plan to hand out the final exam on this day.
