Tests:
There will be two tests. The
first will be at the end of week 2, the second on the last day of the block.
Each test
will include listening, short
answers, and an essay.
Papers:
There will be two papers. The
first is a short review of Mozart's Don Giovanni due on the first
Thursday, the second a longer research/analysis paper on a topic of your
choice due the third Friday of the block.
Listening and viewing:
There will be extensive listening
assignments given each day in class. There will also be three opera
viewings.
